Information letter 2004/11

Dear friends of the FIA-GTC-TC,

I would have prefered to inform you of the latest development concerning the 2005 racing season but unfortunately the dates have still not all been confirmed. More about this matter later.

First of all, my congratulations once again to all the Champions of the 2004 season.

FIA-GTC`65 Periode E Udo Voßhenrich ( D )

FIA-GTC`65 Periode F Bo Warmenius ( S )

FIA-GTC`65 GTP Peter Aylett (GB)

FIA-GTC`76 Periode G+H Thomas Verhoeven ( D )

FIA-TC`65 Periode E Marco Rossi ( I )

Marco Cajani ( I )

FIA-TC`65 Periode F Dieter-Karl Anton ( A )

FIA-TC`76 Periode G+H Wolfgang Schachinger ( A )

I also do not wish to neglect to convey my thanks to all the other participants of the 2004 season. It would not have been possible to present such thrilling and exciting races like those of the FIA-GTC-TC in the whole of Europe without you.

Of course I would also like to thank all the helpers of the season and especially thank all our sponsors without whom it would have been impossible to finance to our “standards”.

Since I am unfortunately still waiting for notification from the FIA as to where the Championship prize-giving ceremony should be held, I have decided to organise a large presentation ceremony for all participants of the 2004 season during our opening race for the 2005 season on 22. – 24.04.2005 in Hockenheim.

Therefore make sure that you definitely note down this date!

Which brings us back to the beginning of my letter – Dates for 2005.

As already mentioned, the negotiations are still in process. The following dates have already been fixed with the race courses, but still have to be reconfirmed by the FIA. These dates are therefore still provisional until then.

22. – 24. 04. Hockenheim ( D )

(with presentation ceremony for 2004 season)

13. – 15. 05. Most ( CZ )

10. – 12. 06. Misano ( I )

01. – 03. 07. Zolder ( B )

26. – 28. 08. Anderstorp ( S )

23. – 25. 09. Spa ( B )

At the moment we are carrying out negotiations about a race in July in Brands Hatch (GB) and another race in October in Dijon (F).

You will of course receive all the necessary documents for the 2005 season without delay as soon as all these dates have been confirmed by the FIA.

I hope that there will be something attractive for each driver and am already looking forward to your hopefully multiple participation.

Since I will be in Captown until 28.11.2004, at long last I will be driving a historical race car myself, therefore at the moment I can only be reached via my mobile phone..

With sporting regards

Your Ronny G. Bredhauer
