060404 / Information letter 4

Dear friends of the FiA-GTC-TC,

please find attached our Information letter No 4, document "Prize-giving ceremony 2005" and the application form "World Record" regarding our first event of the 2006 season.

Our first event of the season the

International Historic Grand Prix “Jim Clark Revival”

27. – 30. April 2006. Hockenheimring

is going to be held soon.

Please now send in your entry forms to us urgently, so that we can start to plan properly (class divisions, ordering the starting numbers and trophies, allocating space in the drivers’ paddock, etc). This of course also applies to our other events of this season. Therefore, if you should already know where you will be participating this year, please inform us and mark the relevant event with a cross on the entry form.

Since I am again planning to hold a prize-giving ceremony for the drivers of the FiAGTC-TC 2005 on Thursday evening, 27.04.2006 at 20:00 hours in the “Wintergarden” of the Hockenheim Ring Hotel, I urge you to please fax back to me urgently (the latest by 10.04.2006) the document attached as to whether you will be able to attend this ceremony or not. I hope that your numerous attendance. Of course it goes without saying that your participation in this prize-giving ceremony is welcome even if you are “FiA-GTC-TC-newcomer” or a “FiA-GTC-TC-guest starter”. Each team which was registered in the 2005 season will receive two Entry Ribbons free of charge. All the other teams can purchase further Ribbons for the sum of only 20,- € p. P. at the Administration Centre of the FIA-GTC-TC.

We urgently need more participants for our world record attempt on Saturday evening, 19:00 hours for the Guinness Book of World Records

“the largest rolling Automobile Museum of the World”

We need to have at least 1000 cars built up to 1976 on the track. Since the cars do not need to be registered for public roads, I am counting on the participation of the FiAGTC-TC competitors as well. We really need each car !! Please fax back to me the attached document “Application form for the Guinness Book -World record attempt” as well as a copy of the first page of your FiA Vehicle Identity Pass.

Each participant would receive a certificate “Member of World Record”.

Please remember that – as I had already informed you in our Information Email of 1. February 2006, that only cars that have been built up to 1976 are allowed to enter the participant paddock 1 and 2. All modern cars will have to park in the paddock No. 3 – Querspange which is only about 50 metres away.

I am looking forward with great pleasure to greeting all of you in Hockenheim.
